From Coach to Coach Leader: Jordan’s Growing Impact
Meet the Coach
Story of Impact
Tuesday, May 12, 2026
In just his second year with Coach Across America at Samuel J. Green Charter School, Jordan has stepped into a new level of leadership. This fall in New Orleans, he volunteered to help lead portions of our in-person coach training—an opportunity reserved for returning coaches ready to grow their impact. Eager to keep learning, Jordan continued that momentum by co-facilitating a two-part training series with Laureus Sport for Good New Orleans, guiding fellow coaches through key Sport-Based Youth Development practices.
Bringing an authentic, on-the-ground perspective as a school-based coach, Jordan connected deeply with participants across schools and community organizations. His approachable style and confidence stood out, earning praise in session feedback and helping other coaches feel more equipped to create positive, youth-centered experiences.
Coaches like Jordan aren’t just leading on the sidelines—they’re becoming leaders who train and inspire others, expanding the reach and impact of this work in their communities.
